Campaign 2009 (C2009)
The Tasmanian Salaried Medical Practitioners Society (TSMPS) forms part of the AMA and in Tasmania, also shares the national divisional role of the Australian Salaried Medical Offices Federation.
In June 2009 the 3 year Industry agreement expired and it was the TSMPS which was at the forefront of negotiations with the State Government for the next agreement. The Letters
Initially a letter to the Premier had been sent and can be seen by clicking here
Subsequently we have received correspondence stating that the Government is refusing to negotiate, a letter of response has been sent to the Premier from the AMA Tasmanian President Dr Chris Middleton. A copy of that letter can be viewed by clicking here.
