CPD Tracker
The AMA is proud to announce an all-new online CPD Tracking service which will be available in January 2012. This service will be free to AMA members.
Each year in September, when you renew your registration with the Medical Board of Australia you may need to produce evidence of compliance with the Board's continuing professional development requirements.
If you were audited by the Medical Board, would you be able to quickly and easily produce the evidence to substantiate the declaration you made about your CPD? Or would you have to sort through piles of papers to find the documents you need?
The AMA CPD Tracker has been developed with just that in mind.
You can use the AMA CPD Tracker to:
- list the courses you have completed including the organisation that accredited the CPD activity;
- store all of your certificates of completion;
- keep a log of your practise-based reflective activities, such as clinical audits, peer review and performance appraisal; and
- log the hours you spend on online learning, reading journals, teaching etc.
The system will keep a tally of the hours you accumulate, so that you know what you have to complete before the end of the registration year.
In developing the AMA CPD Tracker, the AMA has taken account of the requirements set out in the Medical Board's Continuing Professional Development Registration Standard.
Non-members can subscribe to the service for an annual fee of $275 (per annum)
